The Project(s)

Donald Insall Associates engaged Inhabit to develop their climate strategy, encompassing a baseline carbon measurement that formed the basis of their Net-Zero Strategy. This initiative was driven by the increasing requirement for robust sustainability documentation in public sector tenders and from large client institutions. The project aimed to provide Donald Insall Associates with a comprehensive and credible strategy to meet these demands and demonstrate their commitment to environmental responsibility.

Impact

The collaboration with Inhabit resulted in the development of a net-zero strategy document for Donald Insall Associates. This document is now a crucial asset for the practice, enabling them to meet the sustainability requirements of tenders and demonstrate their environmental commitment to clients.

Donald Insall Associates has had their near-term and net-zero targets validated by the SBTi. Making them one of only a small handful of UK-based architects to do so. This is a fantastic achievement and something they should be proud of. Combined with their commitment to annual PAS 2060 Carbon Neutrality, and the continued work in the delivery of their Net-Zero Strategy, puts Donald Insall Associates at the forefront of the architecture industry.

Donald Insall Associates is focused on the ongoing implementation and refinement of their climate strategy. Data management processes are being reviewed for more streamlined data collection in future.
