Over 11,000 UK-based companies are required to report their energy and carbon emissions under the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) guidelines set by the UK Government.

As one of the largest retailers in the UK, M&S is among those required to submit their energy use and greenhouse gas emission data with their annual financial reporting. To help with this task, our organisational carbon specialist provided M&S with guidance on SECR submission and used their expert knowledge of UK Government environmental reporting and international carbon best practice (GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1) to assist them.
